DECEMBER

2018 ![]() ![]() BIRD
BOX was massively over hyped and turned into a somewhat goldmine for
memes. The best maybe being SANDRA BULLOCKS character and her kids
wearing blindfolds crossing by a SALVATION ARMY bucket.
It
wasn't a terrible movie but felt like a lesser M NIGHT SHYMALAN film
which the obvious comparison is his film THE HAPPENNING and ultimately
it is the love child of THE HAPPENNING and the film A QUIET PLACE. M.
NIGHT SHYMALAN is probably somewhere masturbating to the twist at the
end of the film honestly. The king of twists is twisting his knob for
sure
There
are a lot of articles that have tried to lump on extra meaning such as
"They're blinding themselves to mental illness" which would work if it
hadn't have been for the colony of blind people at the end. Which would
mean that the premise ultimately boils down to "Blind People Are
Assholes that neglect mental illness." Which people will try to slap on
any stupid meaning to a movie to make it more in depth but if you
sprinkle glitter in a pile of shit, it's just a glittery piece of shit.
(This film is mediocre at best)
THE TRAILER FOR BiRD BOX!!!
I
love SANDRA BULLOCK and its good to see her relevant again since THE
BLIND SIDE. There was OCEANS 11 but we don't talk about that. However
going I to the movie, I had no idea that JOHN MALKOVICH was in it. I am
also really glad that SARAH PAULSON was in this film just long enough
to cry because that is nearly all I've ever seen her do on
screen.
If
you want to see the source of the memes going around, check this movie
out. If you like SANDRA BULLOCK, check it out, but if you're expecting
something as great as A QUIET PLACE, you should probably pass on it.
As
for a personal recommendation of this film, I say "pass."
Lastly
a moment of silence for MACHINE GUN KELLY. Not even his role in this
movie could save his career from the nuke that EMINEM dropped on it.
